If organic groceries are a must, your best bet is probably to head east over the state line to Maryland and hit MOM’s Organic Market in Jessup at 7351 Assateague Drive.

But if you’re looking for a major shopping center, your best bet is to pop over to Hanover and visit the North Hanover Mall at 1155 Carlisle St. It features everything from clothing stores to eateries to a Game Stop and an Auto Zone.
There’s a restaurant option to fit just about every mood and food preference in and around Littlestown. A lot of the time, you’ll be heading over to the food trucks at 523 Queen St., where you can enjoy Crabby Scott’s seafood, with some of the freshest, meatiest steamed crabs in PA and plenty of other seafood favorites. Or, if you’re a meat lover, try authentic pit-cooked beef at Joe’s Pit Stop.
Green spaces and outdoor recreation spots in Littlestown include Littlestown Park at 151 E. Lakeview Drive, Adams Hanover-Crouse Park at 50 Crouse Park and Appler Field 4, McSherry’s Park at 100 Marvin St. Littlestown Park is a great park for kids, with trails to walk, streams to enjoy, picnic spaces, sports fields and a playground.
The most exciting event in Littlestown is probably the annual summer carnival sponsored by the Alpha Fire Company. Held for a week on Maple Avenue, it’s a great place to take the family for a night of fun with rides, pit-cooked meats and other attractions. If you miss it, don’t worry — carnivals are a regular occurrence in and around Hanover and Littlestown.
