CENTURY 21® has always been supportive of the communities it serves, and that support often comes in the form of sponsorships. But who could have known that CENTURY 21’s corporate support would take such a magical, local turn? We’re talking about the 2015 Little League Baseball World Series, where players from Red Land in West Shore School District have been heating up the field! During their first game last Friday night when they shut out the Midwest Region Championship winners 18-0, they showed everyone watching that they were truly a team to beat!
Red Land’s Journey to the Big Leagues
The team from Red Land has been strong for the past season, which is something our realtors noticed right away! We have followed these talented young athletes all the way to the Mid-Atlantic Championships in Connecticut earlier this month where they snagged the title and ensured their spot in South Williamsport at Howard J. Lamade Stadium.
It was so thrilling to hear names like Cole Wagner, Kaden Peifer, Ethan Phillips, Chayton Krauss and Jaden Henline repeated by ESPN’s announcers during their team’s international debut, and to know these tremendous baseball players were being spotlighted on television.
Fans Cheering in a Sea of Red
As Red Land Little League continues to rise to the challenge, red-clad fans all around the York and Harrisburg region are cheering for them. It seems like wherever we go, we see someone wearing a t-shirt proudly displaying kudos for the team that has put the wonderful town of Lewisberry firmly on the map. It’s an asponsorshiprea that produces dedicated young athletes and world-class coaches like Red Land manager, Tom Peifer!
Life-Changing Experiences and Wide-Open Doors
No matter what happens for the Red Land Little League at the 2015 Little League Baseball World Series, they’ll return to supportive, caring and awestruck neighbors inspired by the commitment, athleticism and professionalism the team has displayed. There’s little doubt that each of the players will take this experience with them throughout their lives, using it as a springboard to achieve future goals.
We at CENTURY 21 Core Partners are cheering for you, Red Land Little Leaguers, and we can’t wait to see what you’ll do next!
