Fall Festivities Schedule

     

     

     Sometimes when you are looking for a new home its all about community. Well this community puts on some pretty amazing Fall Festivities! We have compiled a wonderful list of Fall activities for the family and also for the adults in our local area. Please see the links below for anything from apple picking, hay rides, mazes, music and wine! Get to know your town and the people in it a little better this fall.

    Browns Orchard and Market

    Browns is family owned an operated tucked on top of a beautiful mountain with some of the best views in the area. This is a wonderful stop for adults to taste wine eat at their cafe and relax in a gorgeous scenery with PYO pumpkins and apples to help your inner child.

    Cherry Crest Adventure Farm

    This might be the most diverse collection of activities in the area. They have a Discovery Barn, tug o war, pig races, animal center,inflatables, giant chute slide, apple blasting and hay jump just to mention a few! Food and drinks are of course available as well

    Corn Cobb Acres

    Corn Cob Acres is quickly becoming a fall tradition for families from across Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. With over 40 activities, adventures, and games, Corn Cob Acres offers an entire day full of family fun. Corn Cob Acres is a unique way to create special memories and celebrate the fall season.     Cumberland County Applefest 

    Sponsored by the New Cumberland Olde Towne Association, Apple Festival is held annually on the last Saturday in September in New Cumberland Borough Park. Visitors enjoy craft vendors, entertainment, food, and many activities for young and old. With more than 70 food vendors and 350 craft vendors, it’s sure to be a fun-filled day for all who attend! A trolley will transport visitors to the Festival from several points along Bridge Street and Brandt Avenue.

     Family Tree Farm

    We have a mystery to solve in our 3 acre corn maze. Fun for all ages! Farmer Joe is missing and there are seven farm animal suspects that need to be investigated. Players collect all the clues in the corn maze and try to solve the mystery.  Win that “Farm Scene Investigator Badge”!  This will be our third year for this game and it has been a hit!

    Flinchbaugh’s Orchard & Farm Market 

    Between our 5 acre Corn Maze, Straw Bale Jungle Gym and Pick-Your-Own fruits and pumpkins – the farm is great place to spend time with family and friends.

    Lancaster Food and Wine Festival 

    Mark your calendars and start planning now for the TASTE! LANCASTER Festival of Food, Wine & Spirits. This premier event—which is part of the Gourmet Shows’ exciting lineup of festivals for 2017—is scheduled to be held November 18-19 at the Lancaster County Convention Center and will offer an abundance of eating, drinking, and of course, FUN!

    Smyers Farms

    Smyers is a wonderful farm that hosts a petting zoo hayrides corn box and corn maze! Wonderful for toddlers and family photos!
