Halloween is right around the corner, it’s the start of the holiday season and plenty of people love Halloween and costume parties. Unfortunately, COVID is going to make this party holiday and the ones to come really difficult to celebrate it the usual way.
Some things you can do to keep a bit of extra spice around, of course, is to keep decorating your home. This will help you stay in the spirit, and give your home a fresh feeling since we’ve been stuck inside all year so far. Candy is a classic, especially for Halloween! Food and candy during COVID is an iffy choice but – Halloween is famous for individually packaged candy that could be a safe option – Don’t forget to wash your hands.
If you’re thinking of a way to keep the trick or treaters safe, also, if you’re an extra friendly neighbor or coworker – try subbing the candy bowl for some other treats during the tricky time-Â
Keychains
Stickers
Small hand sanitizer & fun, seasonal shaped soaps
Mums and Sunflowers (Any flowers you like, these are typical for fall)
Little Gourds and Pumpkins
Seasonal Candles (Will always be on my lists)
Halloween/fall cards
Handwritten Cards for clients in addition to “Pop-Bys”
IOU’s – for next years candy
The holiday season has started with Halloween being the kick-off. Halloween is such a fun time to get as creative as possible with gifts! Taking advantage of the coming seasons and holidays to go the extra mile with your neighbors, friends, family, and coworkers. It’s a weird time of life right now with the stress of the universe looming on everyday life – It’s nice to let each other know we are thinking about each other in the little ways.
